Social networking is a tool used by people all around the world. My English teacher wanted us ti experiment with cause and effect in our social media and body image essay papers. She gave us an entire list of topics.
However, I became very passionate about this one in particular. My teacher gave me permission and it blossomed from there. I hope that when people read this article they can come to their own conclusions about social media and what we are transforming into because of it. Its purpose is to promote and aid communication. However, this type of technology might be doing more harm than good.
It is not only changing how we communicate, but how we interact with each other in daily life. Traditional interactions will continue to be at risk if we don’t realize the effects of our social media. Social networking affects our lives in many ways, including our communication, self- expression, bullying, isolations, friendships, and even our very own sense of humanity.
